Release your shame.

Restore your hope.

You feel ashamed and alone.

You don’t know how to process your trauma with God.

You feel like you’re experiencing a “dark night of the soul.”

You “know” what’s true in your head, but your body doesn’t feel it.

You want to trust and hope in the Lord again, but you don’t know how to.

I want you to know there is always hope.

A life of peace is possible.

What is Christian Counseling?

Christian counseling integrates the insights from clinical psychology and Biblical theology to help you experience holistic, mind-body-spirit healing.

Christian counseling is not so much about the tools as much as it is about making room for God to touch and shepherd us. Your healing journey will be informed by the truths of whom you are and how you have been providentially formed through your life. These truths will ground you, transform you, and lead you towards peace.

How It Works

Christian counseling can look however you want. It can look like praying to open or close each session, memorizing or meditating on scripture, or simply talking about your faith together.

I will only incorporate scripture and prayer as much or as little as you want, and there is no pressure to talk about your faith in our sessions together.

With Christian Counseling, you can…

Connect your mind, body, and spirit

Overcome your shame and gain clarity

Experience truths of your identity and safety

It’s time to release your shame and restore hope.

FAQs

  • Anyone who wishes to incorporate their relationship with God in therapy!

  • Although there is no official distinction, Biblical counseling tends to connote that Scripture alone will be used to “diagnose” and “cure” the client’s presenting issues. Christian counseling, on the other hand, does not mean that we will use the Bible to “diagnose” or “cure.” It simply means that the counselor is trained in integrating psychology and theology to allow for a more holistic healing process.
